Do attendees need to install an app to use Say Cheese at our event?

No. Say Cheese runs in the browser. You create the event gallery, then share a QR code or link. Attendees scan it on their phone and can start uploading or viewing in seconds – no app downloads or accounts.

What types of corporate events is Say Cheese best for?

It works well for conferences, offsites, team-building days, internal town halls, product launches, hackathons, award nights and client events. You can create separate galleries per event or per track, depending on your needs.

How many attendees can join and upload content?

That depends on your plan, but Say Cheese is designed to handle anything from small internal workshops to large conferences. You can set upload limits per attendee to keep things manageable and avoid spam.

Can we allow short videos as well as photos?

Yes. On eligible plans you can enable short clips alongside photos, which is great for capturing speaker moments, team activities or quick interviews. You can also keep it photo-only if that suits your content policy better.

Is an internet connection required at the venue?

Yes, attendees need a data or Wi-Fi connection to open the QR link and upload content. If parts of the venue have weak coverage, people can still take photos with their cameras and upload them later from the same link when they’re back online

Can multiple admins manage the event gallery?

Absolutely. You can invite colleagues, agencies or AV partners as co-admins to help approve or hide photos, manage live screens and download content. This is ideal for larger events where one person can’t oversee everything alone.

Can we moderate uploads before they appear on screens or in the gallery?

Yes. You can choose whether uploads appear instantly or only after moderator approval. This helps you keep everything on-brand and safe before it hits a live slideshow, lobby screen or wrap-up gallery.

How secure is our event content, and where is it stored?

Event content is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest. For encrypted events, photos and videos are encrypted in the browser before upload, so we only store encrypted data. Only people with the event key can view the decrypted content.

Can we reuse content after the event for marketing and internal comms?

Yes. You can download all approved photos and clips in bulk and reuse them (according to your own privacy and consent policies) for social posts, case studies, internal newsletters, slides and next year’s event promotion.

How does branding work for corporate events?

You can apply your logo, event name and brand colours to the gallery and QR assets. This keeps the experience consistent with your event visuals, rather than feeling like a generic third-party tool.
